Lacey's homecoming / Rosemarie Naramore.
When Lacey Karr is notified that her grandmother is ill, she races to her hometown. Sadly, her grandmother passes away just as Lacey is left incapacitated by a bad car accident. She finds herself forced to rely on the kindness of her childhood nemesis, sheriff Mason James, who moves her into his home during her recovery period. Lacey has few fond memories of her hometown and is eager to leave it behind again to resume her life. However, since she's stuck for the time being, she confides in Mason her desire to find the father she never knew. He agrees to help her, and Lacey begins to see Mason through different eyes. Ultimately, she is forced to face and reconcile her feelings about her past, her hometown, and Mason James.
